How long does it take to plan a honeymoon?July 4, 2018
Right upfront it could be said that there is no “right answer” to this question. Why? To begin with; a honeymoon is a very personal and intimate affair for a couple therefore each couple’s needs determine what they are interested in. A couple may want to “mix it up” meaning going on a honeymoon to Africa with a mix of as many experiences as possible. It could be from soaking in some sun on a beach to hiking the mountains. It could also mean going on long walks in cute little historic towns to enjoying a safari on the scenic African Savanna grasslands.
Questions that can help a couple planning their honeymoon to Africa are:
- What are you both interested in doing? The outdoors? Culture? Culinary experiences? History? Just to mention a few and then take it from there. By allocating time to the different experiences you are both interested in, you would then be able to see how much time is being taken up
- How much time do you have? How much time is available for the honeymoon depends on different factors such as the vacation time available from work. Rushing your honeymoon by trying to cram in as much as possible in a short time will make it feel like a race against time. Shakespeare put it so well: “Lovers ever run before the clock”.
- Is it a first time experience? If it is, you may want to take a bit of time to enjoy the experience of discovering new places.
- Budget: How much are you comfortable to spend?
The answer then to “How long a Honeymoon to Africa is” – all depends on a couple’s personal preferences. What matters though is the quality of time together as a honeymoon marks an important beginning for a couple’s married life.
